Performance Improvements
We enabled a new stock candle aggregation path that builds closed intraday timeframes directly from live trade data instead of waiting on provider minute candles.
Early production stats show the biggest improvement in slower stock intraday updates:
- Typical materialization improved by about 14%.
- 95th-percentile materialization improved by about 83%.
- Worst observed materialization delay improved by about 89%.
- 95th-percentile fully processed setup timing improved by about 71%.
In plain terms, most stock intraday setup updates are now landing within about 1-8 seconds after candle close, with the slowest observed so far around 12 seconds. Before this change, slow stock intraday updates could take roughly 20-100 seconds.
We are continuing to monitor performance through full market sessions, but the early results show a meaningful improvement in setup freshness for stock intraday timeframes.
